requirements:<\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"unterstutzte-betriebssysteme\">Supported operating systems<\/h4>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Meet supports the current version and the two previous major versions of these operating systems:  <\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Apple macOS<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Microsoft Windows<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Chrome OS<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ubuntu and other Debian-based Linux distributions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Meet works with the following operating systems on mobile devices:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Android 5.0 or higher <a href=\"https:\/\/support.google.com\/android\/answer\/7680439\">Information on checking and updating the Android version<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>iOS 15 or higher<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Meet video conferences in the Gmail app are compatible with the following operating systems:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Android 6 or higher<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>iOS 15 or higher<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"unterstutzte-webbrowser\">Supported web browsers<\/h4>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You should use the latest version of one of the browsers listed below:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Google Chrome.  <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mozilla.org\/firefox\/new\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Download current version<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Microsoft Edge.  <a href=\"https:\/\/microsoft.com\/edge\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Download current version<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Apple Safari<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Tip<\/strong>: If your browser does not support Meet video conferencing, you can dial in using the telephone number and PIN, provided you have received them from the meeting organizer.<\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"zugriff-auf-kamera-und-mikrofon\">Access to camera and microphone<\/h4>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Before using Meet, you must allow the program to access your computer&#8217;s camera and microphone.<\/p>\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"meet-bei-der-ersten-verwendung-den-zugriff-erlauben\">Allow Meet access on first use<\/h5>\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Call up the <a href=\"http:\/\/meet.google.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Meet start page<\/a> in a web browser.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on <strong>New video conference<\/strong> <img decoding=\"async\" width=\"18\" height=\"18\" src=\"https:\/\/lh3.googleusercontent.com\/3_l97rr0GvhSP2XV5OoCkV2ZDTIisAOczrSdzNCBxhIKWrjXjHucxNwocghoUa39gw=w36-h36\" alt=\"and then\"\/><strong>Allow<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"einstellungen-andern-um-den-zugriff-zu-erlauben\">Change settings to allow access<\/h5>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you are not prompted to allow access or if you have previously blocked access, you can change the settings.<\/p>\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Call up the <a href=\"http:\/\/meet.google.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Meet start page<\/a> in a web browser.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on <strong>New meeting<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on &#8220;Camera blocked&#8221; at the top right <img decoding=\"async\" width=\"auto\" height=\"18\" src=\"https:\/\/storage.googleapis.com\/support-kms-prod\/SNP_027CA8EEFC7373358B16698C073A76946FD2_6067573_en_v0\" alt=\"Inadmissible media\"\/>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/meet.google.com\" rel=\"nofollow\">https:\/\/meet.google.com<\/a> to always allow access to the camera and microphone<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on <strong>Done<\/strong>. The connection to the video conference is established automatically. Or you follow the invitation link that was sent to you via mail or messenger.
